It’s only been a couple of months since I had the pleasure of doing an engagement shoot with Jackie and Joell that started outside and finished up at their favorite downtown Edmonton bar. Just like the night of their e-shoot they were blessed with hot summer weather for wedding day on Saturday. With some great venues and entertaining friends and family, these two pulled off a fantastic wedding that was enjoyed by everyone present. Here are some photos from the day.

Jackie and the girls spent the morning prepping at Jackie’s parent’s home.

Mom and dad couldn’t help but peak in.

We left for the beautiful Hastings Lake Gardens shortly after. Below, Jackie is steadied by dad as they begin their walk down the isle.

A kiss begins the marriage!

We did some formals at the gardens followed by a trip to good old Strathern Drive.

The ladies were looking vibrant.

The reception was held at the Greenwood in on Calgary Trail.

The couple participates in an exasperating and deep-digging shoe game.

Followed by some hilarious speeches.

The first dance was up next.

The newlyweds cut their cake.

And the party was on.

Thank you, Jackie and Joell, for making me a part of your wedding. You two were great fun and your fanatstic wedding will surely be remembered during your long and happy marriage. Congratulations and cheers!

While only a year has passed since I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda and Kendt during an autumn engagement shoot in the Edmonton area, it’s been NINE years for this couple along the road to their big day. On Friday, under hot and sunny summer skies, the big day arrived and this couple tied the knot in style. These two are full of character and loads of fun to work with as you’ll see in some of the photos below.

The ladies spent the morning at Amanda’s parent’s home preparing for the day.

We were soon off to the citadel for the ceremony.

After nine years as a couple, Amanda and Kendt are husband and wife with a kiss.

Formals were done in and around downtown Edmonton. The bridesmaids were the life of the jump shot.

The bridesmaids were looking gorgeous and the ‘bridesman’ handsome.

Amanda made a beautiful bride.

What’s a formal session without a football?

The reception was back at the Old Timer’s Cabin in Edmonton’s River Valley.

The ladies enjoyed an entertaining slideshow.

Thank you, Amanda and Kendt, for making me a part of your long-in-coming wedding day! You two were a lot of fun to work with and I wish you all the best in the future. Congratulations and cheers!

Just a couple of months ago, I had the pleasure of doing an engagement shoot with Elizabeth and Riley in Elk Island Park. These two were super easy-going and a real pleasure to work with and I could tell both were quite excited about their upcoming wedding. August 22nd arrived on Saturday and these two became husband and wife in front of a crowd of happy family and friends under beautiful blue skies. Here are some photos from the day.

I joined the ladies on Saturday morning at the Coast East Edmonton Inn in Sherwood Park as they prepared for the day.

A short time later, Elizabeth made her entrance with dad outside the Sunridge Ski Lodge.

A kiss sealed the vows.

The ladies definately had the guys beat in posing expertise.

Almost a year ago, I had the pleasure of doing a beautiful fall engagement shoot with Stephanie and Steven out at Elk Island Park. These two were laid back and full of love for each other that evening. Nothing has changed since then as this great couple shared their fill of love and laughter on their wedding day. With great summer weather and a fun and rambunctious wedding party to keep things light, Stephanie and Steven’s special wedding was a huge success. Here are some of the photos.

The ladies had their hair and makeup done bright and early at the Verve Salon in Sherwood Park.

Later in the morning, they made a quick stop at the North Edmonton Inn for their dresses.

At 1:00 pm, Stephanie made her entrance with dad at Festival Place.

Steven, eager to seal the vows, tries to jam the ring onto Stephanie’s finger.

Stephanie returned the favor. :)

With a kiss, they were husband and wife.

We were off to do some formals atop Edmonton’s river valley. Check out the air time from the groomsman on the end.

The ladies of the day were looking gorgeous.

Suprisingly, Steven was not hurt during the taking of this photo.

The reception was at Sunridge Ski Lodge where the couple’s incredible cake was on the display.

The head table was alive with laugher during the speeches.

And it was almost a shame to see the great cake cut.

Stephanie and Steven share an impressive first dance.

An epic struggle for the garter later in the evening.

And a sunset kiss to end the evening.

Thanks so much, Stephanie and Steven, for making me a part of your big day. You two shared a fantastic wedding worthy of the great relationship you’ll take into the future. Congratulations and cheers!

Isabelle and Marc - Wedding Day

Last fall, I had the chance to meet Isabelle and Marc during an engagement shoot in Elk Island Park. They were a free spirited couple who loved each other a great deal and it showed in their photos. Nearly a year has gone by and, on Saturday, their wedding day arrived. Beautiful summer weather and fun and light hearted wedding party made the day a special one for everyone involved. Here are some of the photos.

Marc got ready at the residence of one of his groomsen in Sherwood Park.

Isabelle and her team were preparing for the day just a few blocks away.

There ceremony began a short time later at Festival Place with the bride being escorted down the outdoor isle by her dad.

With a kiss, Marc and Isabelle are husband and wife.

After doing some family formals at Woodbridge Farms in Sherwood Park, we headed off to Irene Parlby Park for some shooting with the wedding party.

The day’s lovely ladies pose for the camera.

The ceremony was held at the Petroleum Club near downtown Edmonton. The mostly bilingual speeches elicited lots of laughter and happy tears.

The newlyweds shared their first dance…

…and showed off some serious moves halfway through.

Dances with mom and dad ended the evening for me.

Thanks for making me a part of your big day, Isabelle and Marc. You two make a great couple and I sincerely enjoyed working with you. Congratulations and cheers!
