Jennifer and Bryan - Wedding Day

Meet Jennifer and Bryan. Those of you with a keen eye might remember the bride from a wedding three years ago where she stood as a bridesmaid for her close friend Amanda. On Saturday, this fun and laid back couple returned to Jennifer’s hometown of Edson to tie the knot in front of jubilant family and friends. Blue skies and big smiles adorned the day and the wedding went off flawlessly. Here are some photos from the day.

The ladies prepared for the day at their parent’s home in Edson.

The day’s lovely ladies (who happen to be sisters) smile for the camera.

A short while later, Jennifer was escorted down the isle by her dad in the home’s beautiful back yard.

The marriage begins with a kiss.

Formals took us to a few locations in and around Edson. Below, the wedding party gets some air time.

The Best Western in Edson was the site for the reception. The speeches were full of love and laughter.

The first dance was up next.

Followed by some fun at the cupcake table.

Thank you, Jennifer and Bryan, for allowing me to be a part of your big day. A good time was had by all - including your photographer. Congratulations and cheers!

It was a bright, happy Saturday in Edmonton this weekend - just in time for the union of Shauna and Craig whose engagement session you might recall from last fall. Family and friends were present from near and far to witness their wedding and, in the end, everyone left wtil a smile. Here are a few photos from the day.

Shauna’s big day started at Rendevous Salon in South Edmonton.

Preparations continued nearby at her parent’s home.

A short time later, the bride was escorted down the isle by mom and dad to a waiting groom.

A kiss sealed the marriage.

It was pyramid time!

The day’s ladies were looking gorgeous.

The reception was held at the Chateau Louis.

Shauna and Craig enjoyed their first dance.

The cake was cut.

The groom got a little help to get the garter hunt started.

And it was party time!

Thanks for sharing your big day with me, Shauna and Craig. Your wedding was alot of fun - best wishes in the future. Cheers!

Meet Heather and Anthony. This fun and down to earth couple will be exchanging vows a little later this summer and, last night, we headed off to Hermitage Park in Northeast Edmonton for some engagement photos. Wearing big smiles and engaging in lots of entertaining chatter, we managed to have a productive evening. Here are a few of the photos…

Thanks for a great shoot you two - looking forward to your big day! Cheers!

Meet Valerie and Tony. Actually, if you’re a regular blog watcher Valerie might look familiar. She made a beautiful bridesmaid at her sister’s wedding last summer. The summer of 2010 is all hers however as she and her fiance Tony will be tieing the knot in only a month’s time. On the weekend, we took advantage of a beautiful summer day to head off to Elk Island Park for some engagement photos. Here are a few from the evening…

Thanks for a fun evening and great shoot, Valerie and Tony. Can’t wait for the big day. Cheers!

Leah and Ryan - Engagement Session

Meet Leah and Ryan. When this spirited couple told me they wanted to do an engagement session in the Rockies, I liked them then and there. There’s fewer places I’d rather shoot than in the Canadian Rockies on a pristine morning. Jasper was to be the destination but the weather forecast looked pretty grim through most of the week. In the end, Jasper came through and we rose early in the morning to beautiful blue skies without a wisp of wind. Here are some photos from the shoot.

Thanks for a fun and fantastic shoot, Leah and Ryan. Looking forward to an equal experience on your big day this summer. Cheers!
