Diane and Morgan - Wedding Day
Remember Morgan and Diane? Last fall, this couple endured an engagement shoot that crossed paths with a hail storm (a quick storm that left a bright sun in its wake). Yesterday, the big day came and I had the pleasure of being there to document it from start to finish. We were all concerned by the wet looking weather forecast but from the time the day got underway until the end of the night, not a drop of rain fell. The day was festive and the happy couple sported big smiles throughout. Here are some of the photos.
Diane and her bridesmaids got ready at their parent’s home in St. Albert.

The ladies help Diane into her stunning dress.

When the ladies were ready, we stepped out into the colorful backyard for some photos. Below, the beautiful bride poses for a portrait.

Next stop was the St. Albert United Church for the ceremony officiated by Morgan’s grandfather. The bride makes her entrance with mom and dad.

A loving kiss seals the marriage.

Our formal photo session started at the St. Albert Public Library and continued to the Muttart Conservatory Grounds and the Alberta Royal Museum.

The ceremony took place in the Maple Leaf Room of the Lister Conference Center in Edmonton and began with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony where Morgan and Diane respectively offered tea to their elder family members and, in turn, received gifts.

Responding to two brave guests who demonstrated some hardcore kissing technique, Morgan attacks his new bride.

The couple’s first dance was next followed by some dances with the parents.

Diane changed into a traditional Chinese wedding dress for the remainder of the reception. Near the end of the evening, we headed outdoors for some nighttime wedding photography.

You two pulled off a great wedding, Diane and Morgan - thank you for making me a part of it! Just as I know you’ll be greatly missed by your family and friends when you make your upcoming move to Ireland, I also know that you two make a great team and will do wonderfully there with each other’s support. Cheers and best wishes!
Beautiful wedding photos - possible competition winners
Diane and Morgan:
Loved your wedding pictures that I just came up by mistake when I was searching for any news on a couple that I knew in college many years ago named Dee and Morgan….. I graduated from the University of Dayton, Ohio in 1967.
You look like a very happy couple…Hoped that everything is working out well for you. I live in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Sincerely,
